This Week in the CDSA (March 31 – April 7)

Posted By | Categories This Week

Good Morning Chicago DSA,

It’s Runoff Election season! Well, for some of the races it’s more like a Run”oof” Election cause the candidates are so bad, amirite?

But not our endorsed candidates! They’re all exceptional, and they’re going to bring real socialist power to Chicago. I know I’ve talked about it a lot over the last 6 months but here they are one more time, for your donating, phonebanking, canvassing, and voting pleasure:

Jeanette Taylor running in the 20th Ward

Byron Sigcho-Lopez running in the 25th Ward

Rossana Rodriguez running in the 33rd Ward

Andre Vasquez running in the 40th Ward

Tim Thomas running for Oak Park Trustee

If you’ve got any time to spare today through Tuesday, please get out there and volunteer. We need all the help we can get if we want to win a socialist future.

After election day, we’ve still got some events on the calendar for the rest of the week – in particular there’s a pretty interesting and important Socialist Night School coming up next Sunday.

I’ll see you out there, comrades 🙂

Monday + Tuesday in Oak Park
  • Tim Thomas, DSA member and CDSA endorsed candidate for Oak Park Trustee, needs your help! Leading up to the trustee election on April 2, we need people to come and help canvass and phone bank for Tim. There are canvasses pretty much every day and a phone bank on Monday. Please check our FB event page or our website calendar for more details. If you are unable to make it out to Oak Park, please consider supporting Tim financially and donating to his campaign. And for more information on who Tim is, why he’s running for Trustee and what he stands for, be sure to check out his website:
