CDSA Electoral Working Group February Meeting

February 20, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm UTC+0

Join your fellow comrades in getting socialism on the ballot at the Electoral Working Group’s February meeting! It will be held on Tuesday 2/20 from 6:30pm-8pm at SEIU Local 73 Offices, 300 S. Ashland, 4th Floor.

Don’t miss it because this meeting will be a big one, folks! We will be voting on EWG leadership positions as well as voting on a new candidate endorsement process to be submitted to the Executive Committee. Also on the agenda will be voter information programs, creating a CDSA canvassing training program and other election updates.

If you’d like more information about running for a leadership position in the Electoral Working Group or would like to get something on the agenda, please let us know in the comments and we’ll email you.

Venue Information: Enter the doors on Jackson or around the back and take the elevator up to floor 4. Call for entry 872-230-9519 if case the office door is closed. Transit accessible from the #9 Ashland bus or the Blue Line (Racine stop, exit west side to Loomis; Medical District stop is under construction so I don’t recommend). There is a parking ramp at 1645 W. Jackson but it costs money. There is also a lot behind the building between Jackson and Van Buren that should not tow at night but I can’t make any guarantees so it is park at your own risk. There should be street parking anyway at that time on Jackson between Ashland and Paulina unless there’s a Blackhawks or Bulls game.
